14 Dance DJs To Take To The Stage At North Belfast ShoreFest

Some of the biggest names in local and international dance music are set to take to the stage at a new festival in North Belfast.

Belfast born Simon Patterson, who now lives in Miami, is flying home to headline the massive 5,000 capacity ShoreFest event in the grounds of Crusaders Football Club on Saturday June 1.

Simon, best known for his international hits Bulldozer, Breathe Again and Fall For You, will be joined on the main stage line-up by local dance icon Shugz who grew up minutes from the stadium where the show will take place.

Shugz is a firm favourite with the Northern Ireland crowd due to his energetic stage presence and Trance mixes.

“Can’t wait to play at ShoreFest, it’s going to be immense, and it will be electrifying playing on home ground at Crusaders” said Shugz, whose records All Systems Go, Floorburn and Eden are popular dance floor fillers.

Also performing on the main stage are Scottish trance DJ David Rust, Chris Schweizer (from Buenos Aires, Argentina), Ciaran McAuley, Ed Heaney and Paddy Gormley & Paul Woods.

ShoreFest is the brainchild of local event promoters Ed Heaney and Hugh Kirkpatrick.

Ed, who is also on the line-up, said: “For years we have wanted to bring an event of this size to North Belfast and in particular to the Shore Road where we grew up.

“This year we’re delighted to have the support of Crusaders and have a fantastic line-up for what is set to be one of the biggest outdoor dance music parties Belfast has ever seen.”
