Ulster Orchestra to perform in West Belfast with
acclaimed Irish composer Neil Martin
The Ulster Orchestra is delighted to appear at Cultúrlann McAdam Ó Fiaich, Belfast on Friday November 3rd at 7.30pm. This performance is part of the ‘On Your Doorstep’ concerts series, which sees the Orchestra play in as diverse a range of venues as possible across Northern Ireland.

Members of the Ulster Orchestra are joined by Neil Martin, composer and Gaeilgeoir from Belfast whose work has been performed across the world from Ground Zero to Mostar Bridge and the Royal Albert Hall, as well as being played on the International Space Station. As a producer, arranger and musician, Neil has contributed to over 100 albums and has performed in international venues, such as Carnegie Hall and Palazzo Vecchio.
The Ulster Orchestra’s string ensemble, present a programme which explores both Tchaikovsky’s sunny masterpiece Souvenir de Florence and what it means to make chamber music together. Whether this is the first time you’ve encountered classical music before, or if you’re an avid fan, then you’ll enjoy hearing more about this eternally popular piece for six string players. This is an informal evening, presented in Irish and English and a perfect introduction to the Ulster Orchestra is you’ve never heard them before.
