New alternative- pop artist Rebekah Fitch is pleased to announce a headline Belfast show at the Empire Music Hall on 27th November 2019. Combining enigmatic artistry, thought-provoking lyrics and genuine wonder, Rebekah Fitch is an artist that will spark intrigue. The power of music is in its ability to carry a message, and this is exactly what Rebekah does. In a rapidly transforming world, she challenges listeners to stop and think for themselves, finding where they stand before being swept away in the chaos. Each project is always a combination of passion, risk, and daring vision, with a constant desire to push boundaries and relate to the human condition. Tickets on sale Friday at 9am from www.ticketmaster.ie & Ticketmaster outlets nationwide. Northern Ireland customers 0844 277 44 55 & Republic of Ireland customers 0818 719 300.

In 2019, she has already reached 100,000 Spotify streams and sold out Belfast’s The MAC Theatre, her biggest headline show to date with a capacity of 350. With rave reviews, full band, string section, and light show, it set a daring new tone of where she is headed. Her dynamic multi-instrumental live shows, complete with mesmerising live-looping, flute, and powerful vocals, have attracted serious attention and are now in constant demand. Live show highlights also include performing for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, playing in the SSE Arena Belfast, and in a sold-out Koko in London, as well as a self-organised 9-date tour of the UK and Ireland.

Music from her debut and sophomore EPs was praised by the likes of Clash Magazine (including two video premieres), The Thin Air, Hot Press, Nialler9, and more. She has gained commercial success with playlisting on FM104 (as their Select Irish Artist), Cool FM and U105, in addition to performing live sessions on BBC NI, Sky One, UTV, and BBC Radio Ulster. She was included in Hot Press Magazine’s “Hot for 2019” list, and The Thin Air’s “19 for 19” list, was awarded the PRS Foundation’s Lynsey De Paul Prize and Help Musicians Transmission Fund, and was one of five nominees for the NI Music Prize Oh Yeah Contender Award (best emerging act).

A firm advocate for mental health, Rebekah’s recent release, Need To Feel, was picked up by tens of thousands on Spotify’s Discover Weekly playlist, made No. 6 in Chordblossom’s Top NI Releases and No. 88 in The Thin Air’s Top Irish Releases of 2018. The video for the track sparked a strong reaction of admiration online due to the bravely honest narrative surrounding her own journey with mental health.
