UK House & Techno sensation PATRICK TOPPING makes a return to Belfast this Monday 2nd April for the final ever Easter Monday Mandela Hall SHINE! 2017 saw Patrick cement his status amongst dance music elite, including a debut SHINE appearance as he sold out The Limelight well in advance of doors opening. A massive fan of Irish crowds and events, Patrick’s Easter date at Mandela Hall should easily be another advance sellout.
Joining him across the basement rooms at QUBSU is an all star case of new House music stars. In Mandela Hall, MELÉ and COUSN take care of opening for Topping, while in room 2, DJ BORING headlines the Bunatee with Irish duo BRAME & HAMO plus Colm McKenna!
In room 3, local outfit and blog GENESIS takeover the Bar Sub with sets from Mark Blair, Mark Lilburn & Shea Nancarrow.
In a short space of time, Patrick Topping has become one of the most illustrious names in dance music. With the new wave of electronic music producers coming from the north of England, he is a pioneering force for a generation of upcoming artists, reflected in recently being voted 11th in Resident Advisors Top100 DJ’s of 2016 and picked as 15th by Mixmag.
His DJ career first began when he founded his own club night ‘Motion’ at respected venue Digital Newcastle, where he booked and played alongside some of the biggest names in the business including Solomun, Tale Of Us & Sven Väth.
